Testing privacy disclosures
These additional disclosures cover separately distributed iPhone/iPad test editions and the connected Mac development edition. These features are not included in the Mac-first App Store release. This page is not an announcement of public mobile availability.
The main privacy policy identifies the publisher and explains support, diagnostics, website processing, retention and your rights. Those terms also apply to these test editions; the additional data flows below apply only where the feature is present and you choose to use it.
Standalone mobile shoots
Folders and Photos assets you select are processed locally. SpeedCull does not upload these standalone shoots. Your Files provider, Photos library or backup service may sync originals under its own settings. Copying selected originals, writing ratings to supported JPEGs and updating Photos favourites/albums are separate, explicit actions.
Optional private iCloud sync
If you enable the companion workflow, SpeedCull uses Apple's CloudKit service and your private iCloud database to transfer JPEG previews, filenames, shoot information, file fingerprints and sizes, image/session identifiers, culling decisions and edit history between your devices. Random installation identifiers help reconcile edits. SpeedCull does not upload RAW originals through this feature or copy source EXIF/GPS tags into the transfer. Pixels and filenames may still reveal personal information.
The developer does not receive those photographs through a developer-operated server. Apple operates iCloud under its privacy policy and your account settings. This is private sync, not a public gallery. You do not need a SpeedCull account for standalone culling.
Storage and deletion
Local catalogues, previews and decisions remain until you remove them. Removing offline downloads preserves local decisions. Export or back up decisions before uninstalling, and confirm that decisions have reached the Mac before removing a device's only copy.
Pausing iCloud sync does not delete existing records. SpeedCull does not yet offer a cloud-data deletion control. Contact us for guidance on Apple's available account/storage controls; we cannot directly access or erase your private iCloud photo database.
Your choices
You choose which files and Photos assets the app can access through Apple's permission controls. Private cloud sync is optional. These mobile and connected test editions do not include AI analysis. Other AI-enabled development editions need their own provider disclosures before analysis.
